On behalf of the International Public Relations Association and its members in 100 countries, I want to congratulate you on the occasion of .PR Days in Ukraine 2008. in Kiev. The program for The International Annual Summit, Image Technologies and Investments, and for the Third Annual forum, Image and Branding of Ukraine, is outstanding. I would like to personally welcome you to these professional events.
IPRA is the world’s largest network for individual public relations practitioners, with nearly 1100 members, including many of you. IPRA is an organization with a proud heritage, a solid foundation and a keen focus on the future of our profession. As President of IPRA, I am very proud of your efforts in Ukraine on behalf of our global profession.
Today, IPRA is pursuing a vision very similar to that of its founders, yet we recognize that we are operating in new global markets that grow and evolve very rapidly. More than ever, we in public relations -you and I - are asked to position public relations as a strategic, measurable management function.
Practitioners worldwide are challenged to enhance our ethics and accountability and prove the value of what we do. Your Summit will enable you to better meet those challenges.
I offer my warmest regards to all of the Summit delegates, and I wish you all a good conference.
Best Regards,
Robert W. Grupp
IPRA President 2008
